Preschool Programs:
All preschool programs are half-day with the option of extended care to meet full day needs.
3 Year-Old Program
Requirements for acceptance:
Must be 3 years old by September 1, 2007
Must be able to take care of their own toilet needs
Class time and content:
9:00AM-11:30AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays
This thematic program is a great introduction
to school. Children are in a hands-on environment, which encourages sharing and
appreciating.
4 Year-Old Program
Requirements for acceptance:
Must be 4 years old by September 1, 2007
Must be able to take care of their own toilet needs
Class time and content:
8:30-11:30AM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
or
8:30-11:30 on Monday-Friday
An exploration of the 4-year-old’s world
is expanded through activities, which encourage math and reading skills. Every
day is an adventure, leading the child to a better understanding of his/her world.
Kindergarten Programs:
All children entering Kindergarten must be 5 years-old by September 1, 2007
Half-Day Kindergarten
8:30-11:30AM Monday thru Friday
Full-Day Kindergarten
8:30AM-3:30PM Monday thru Friday
The
kindergarten curriculum containes activities and lessons that
encourage growth. Language arts, math, science, social studies,
music, art, PE, and Jesus Time are all part of kindergarten.
Main curriculum areas are emphasized during the morning. During the
afternoon, children participate in enrichment activities that provide
reinforcement to concepts being learned.
