Miss Holcomb's Autobiography

Miss Holcomb is blessed to serve as one of the new middle school teachers at Immanuel Lutheran School this year. In addition to teaching 5th and 6th grade students religion and memory/handwriting, she teaches 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students social studies, English and language arts, literature, music, and physical education. She is also looking forward to her first year as an assistant coach for the co-ed volleyball and track and field teams.

Miss Holcomb grew up in Tinley Park, Illinois. She attended Trinity Lutheran School (Tinley Park, IL) for ten years before attending Tinley Park High School. She graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin (Mequon) in May of 2009 with a major in Lutheran elementary education and a double minor in broad field social studies and music. Her favorite hobbies include singing, playing the piano, reading, outdoor activities such as biking, running, and hiking, and spending time with friends.

Her personal mission statement is taken from the Bible (Matthew 28: 19-20): "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
