is worth 10 points. Challenge words are worth 2 points. Please have your child practice writing and saying their
spelling words for five minutes every night. Work with them after dinner and on their way to school. :)

About Mrs. Vogel
- My husband, Mark, and I have been happily together for 23 years. We have three great kids. Our 17 year old son,
Eric, is a Junior at Lake Park High School and seriously looking at colleges now. Our middle son, Anton, is 14 and a
Freshman soccer player and tennis player at LPHS, and our daughter, Sarah, is 13 and will be graduating 8th grade, and is
looking forward to playing flute with LPHS marching band and four honors classes! This is my 4th year teaching 1st and
2nd grade at Immanuel Lutheran. I graduated Cum Laude with my Bachelor's Degree from Concordia University, River Forest
for Lutheran Early Childhood with a concentration in psychology. I also teach art 1-4th grade and computers K-2, and
previously organized and ran VBS at Immanuel for two years. I love teaching and also enjoy cooking, reading and hanging
